Condolence: I am so sad to hear of Paule's passing. I was a very close friend of her son Jon, and she and I kept in touch with emails and visits in the years after his death. I reached out to her after a few years of losing touch and found out from a response from her niece that she was living in Florida and was not in a condition to remember me. I so loved Jonathan and felt a close connection to her because of it. My best wishes to her neice that she spoke of many times, and any other family and friends. Condolence: Dear Paule,
I'm so sad. I lost you years ago when your letters didn't arrive any more after about 40 years of exchange. When I phoned I was told there was no Daum at the address in Newton. In one of my last letters I asked how I were to know if something would happen to you, and I never received an answer.I hope very much that your last years were good to you. You meant a great deal to me in my younger years and I shall not forget you.
