Iris M. (Zundell) Traub, 86 of Alton, NH formerly of Lake Worth, FL, Salem, NH and Lawrence died at Merrimack Valley Hospice in Haverhill Saturday morning. A native of Springfield, Mrs. Traub graduated Commerce High School in Worcester as a Horace Mann Scholar and also Beth Israel School of Nursing. Mrs. Traub resided in Lawrence for 12 years, Salem, NH for 20 years and Lake Worth, FL and Alton, NH for the past 30 years. She formerly was an active Den Mother & Brownie Leader, Coast Guard Ladies Auxiliary and life member of Hadassah. She was predeceased by her husband Edwin who passed in October 2014, with whom she shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. She is survived by her children Marjorie Traub-Cummings, Francee Traub-Longmuir, Leonard Traub and Shari Traub; her grandchildren Brendan, Jared, Stephanie, Peter, Travis, Haley and Scott and her brother Warren Zundell.Services will be held at Temple Emanuel Cemetery 202 Mount Vernon St. Lawrence on Sunday (today) September 13 at 1:00PM. Due to the Rosh Hashanah Holiday, condolence calls may be made at the Traub residence 10 Lancaster Place Andover on Wednesday 4-8PM.
