92, of Burlington formerly of Medford. Entered Eternal Rest January 15, 2016. Devoted wife of the late A. David Freedland.. Beloved mother of Jean Ellis-LaBossiere & her husband Richard LaBossiere, Mark & his wife Patricia Freedland and Ruth Kurtz. Cherished grandmother of Karen Ellis. Dear sister of Dr. Leon Rand and the late Burton Rand, also survived by her sistes-in-law, Marilyn Freedland and Estelle Moskowitz as well as many nieces and nephews. Sarah was a proud graduate of Beth Israel School of Nursing and a graduate of UMass Boston with a BS in Psychology. The family is ever so grateful to the compassionate care given to their mother by her companions, Bernadette, Rosette, Brenda, Lillian and Milly, as well as the kindhearted staff and residents at Stonebridge. The family is also very grateful for kind and attentive care given their mother by Compassionate Care Hospice of Woburn. Services at Temple Shalom 475 Winthrop St. (Route 38) MEDFORD on Monday January 18 at 1:00 PM. Interment in Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon. Condolence calls may be made following the interment at Stonebridge Living Center 50 Greenleaf Way Burlington until 6PM and on Tuesday 10-12N and 2-4PM.
