The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorothy Greene can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Cheryl Speranza Coughlin
Condolence: Dear Michael, Phyllis and Larry,

I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. My heart goes out to all of you.

Dotty was truly a sweet, kind, genuine real lady with a wonderful sense of humor whom I adored.. I will forever remember her Estee Lauder perfume, bright pink lipstick, beautifully teased hair, and the excitement in her voice when she shared a story.

One example of her story telling was from last year when I visited her, she reminded me of the Jazzercise classes we did together at the Glenwood School, which I forgot until she mentioned it. She also recalled how we wore our leotards, and she was so proud in reminiscing how sometimes on a good night, we even did TWO classes in a row!!!

She will be forever remembered.

My best always,

Cheryl Speranza Coughlin

The last time I was with Aunt Dotsy, we were at Kowloon restaurant. I sat next to her and we reminisced. She is forever etched in my heart.
