Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Toby Awerbuch can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Toby M. Awerbuch (Rubinstein)

Toby (Rubinstein) Awerbuch 95, died at Cohen-Florence-Levine Estates in Chelsea after a long illness.
Mrs. Awerbuch was a native of Cleveland, Ohio and relocated to this area about 10 years ago to be closer to her daughter and family. She was a retired Librarian having worked in Cleveland Heights for a number of years. Mrs. Awerbuch was also long time and active member of the League of Women Voters and the Jewish War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Awerbuch was the wife of the late Erwin Awerbuch and David Meck. She is survived by her children Roberta & Dr. Steven Keenholtz and Stuart Meck; her grandchildren, Erica & Alex Crisses, Dana & Steven Brand, Ross & Suzie Keenholtz and Lindsay Meck; also by her great grandchildren Blake, Spencer & Austin Crisses and Brandon Keenholtz.
A memorial service will be held at the home of Roberta & Dr. Steven Keenholtz Thursday October 13 at 6:30PM with a minyan service following at 7PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Chelsea Jewish Foundation 17 Lafayette Avenue Chelsea, MA 02150.
