Condolence: Knew Deb from work and was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. I just recently heard and wanted to convey my condolences to the family. She was a remarkable person and had such a positive attitude and "fighting" spirit. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: So sad to hear of Deb's passing. I still remember working with her when she first joined Raytheon, full of enthusiasm and eager to learn new ways to design. She was always willing to get involved however she could. She will be missed.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy to all the Tonks family, and to her sisters, Tammy and Susan. May Deb's spirit burn long in your hearts.

Deb was a college roommate during her sophomore/junior years at UCLA--she the young grasshopper and I the "older/wiser" graduate student...Ha! Little did I know then all that I would learn from her. Her energy and enthusiasm, her beliefs and loves--all were insurmountable; pity the person who stood in her way. It's hard to believe her bright light has been extinguished. I will cherish my memories from those formative years and carry forth her spirit to do the right thing.

Condolence: Richard and family, please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences for your loss.

I had the pleasure of working very closely with Deb on several Raytheon programs for more than a decade. She was unstoppable! She was a good friend and a great colleague…she always had your back.

As many have said, Deb was inspirational…always the first to volunteer, last to leave, always ready to help. She is already missed…there is no one that can fill the void left by Deb. Her memory lives on in all of us…her family and her friends. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Condolence: To Richard and all of Deb's family -

No one who ever met Deb even once ever forgot her. The "LA WMN" license plate, the hair (back in the day), and most of all the sparkling personality. Deb lived her life fearlessly. She was a terrific colleague and an even better friend. And that doesn't even cover the day that Deb and I earned Raytheon 10 million dollars. As saddened as we are by her passing, our lives were all made immeasurably richer by the time that we shared with her. May the memory of those times lighten your hearts during these difficult days.
