Obituary for Norman Eli Revman

Norman E. Revman, 95, of Swampscott, formerly of Marblehead entered eternal rest on Thursday November 17, 2016.
Born in Boston, Mr. Revman has lived in the Swampscott and Marblehead communities for the past 59 years. He served in the Coast Guard during World War II. After returning from the Coast Guard, he took a job at Irving Tanning as a leather wholesaler, a job he worked at until his retirement. He was also an active member of Congregation Shirat Hayam and avid fan of horse racing as well as all things Boston sports.
He was the devoted husband of Sylvia (Fingerman); beloved father of Audrey & the late George Linsky, Donna Revman and Bruce & Anne Revman; adored grandfather of Stephanie & Andrew Katz, Debora & Gary Laflamme, Aarin Linsky, Amanda Revman, and Casey Revman; cherished great grandfather of Madison & Sam Katz and Morgan & MacKenzie Laflamme; and dear brother of the late Abraham Revman.
Services will be at the Maple Hill Cemetery 98 Canterbury Dr. (off Esquire Dr. at Rte 114), Peabody on Sunday November 20 at 10:00 AM. Condolence calls may be made following the interment Sunday at the home of Stephanie & Andrew Katz until 5PM, then continuing at his late residence, Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday from 1-4PM each day. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Congregation Shirat Hayam c/o Minyan Fund 55 Atlantic Avenue Swampscott, MA 01907.
