The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Shirley Sideman can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Shirley Dorothy Sideman (Fine)

Shirley D. (Fine) Sideman, 90 of North Chelmsford entered eternal rest on January 6, 2017.
Born & raised in Lowell, she resided in the city for many years until moving to North Chelmsford 25 years ago. She also worked as an office assistant for Wang Laboratories and was a member of Hadassah as well as the sisterhood of the former Temple Beth El.
She was the devoted wife of the late Irving Sideman; the beloved mother of William & Valerie Sideman, Bradford & Lois Sideman, and Mindy & David Kates; the adored grandmother of Evan & Lindsay Sideman, Lynn & Stephen Bowen, Joshua & Chelsea Sideman, Joanna & R.J. Mack, Robert Sideman, Eric Kates, Alycia & Chris Oak, and Marci Kates; the cherished great grandmother of Mason & Caiden Mack, and Olivia Oak; and the dear sister of the late Nathan, Edward, and Paul Fine. A special thank you to Kathy, Cindy, Verlie, and Vivian of Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley.
Services at Temple Emanuel 7 Haggetts Pond Road, Andover on Monday January 9 at 11:00AM. Interment to follow at the Montefiore Cemetery, Pelham, NH. Condolence calls may be made at the home of Bradford & Lois Sideman following the interment until 8PM and Tuesday from 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Lowell High School Special Olympics c/o Bursar 50 Father Morissette Blvd. Lowell, MA 01852, Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley www.esmv.org , or to Temple Emanuel of Andover www.templeemanuel.net .
