Obituary for Hilda Ozuransky (Liberman)

Hilda (Liberman) Ozuransky, 103, of Peabody, entered eternal rest on March 13, 2017.
Born in Cambridge, Mrs. Ozuransky was raised in Somerville; she worked as a bookkeeper at Star Market. She was also an active member of Congregation Sons of Israel, Peabody Council on Aging, Hadassah, Ladies Auxiliary of the JWV, Seniors of the JCC, Women’s League of Temple Ner Tamid and Tontoquon Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.
She was the devoted wife of the late Irving Ozuransky; beloved mother of Harriet & her husband Theodore Polonsky and the late Judith Ozuransky; adored grandmother of Amy Beth & Christopher Laythe, Eric & Renee Polonsky, and Jason & Jocelyn Polonsky; cherished great grandmother of Rebecca, Lily and Braydon Polonsky.
Graveside services at Shirat Hayam (Beth El Section) Cemetery at rear of 506 Lowell Street in Peabody on Thursday, March 16 at 11:00 AM. Condolence calls may be made at the Polonsky residence following the interment Thursday, Friday until sundown, and on Sunday beginning at noon. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Friends of Peabody Council on Aging Transportation Dept., 79 Central St., Peabody, MA 01960 or the Aleppo Shriner’s Transportation Fund, 99 Fordham Rd., Wilmington, MA 01887.
