FINN- Sherwin
85, of Newtown, CT. formerly of Danvers, Peabody and New York. Entered Eternal Rest April 18, 2017. Born in Everett on October 4, 1931, son of the late Edith and Max Finn. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Bentley School of Accounting and worked for over 35 years in New York. He was an Airman 1st Class for 4 years in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, but his greatest passion was spending time with his family. Devoted husband of Beverly (Cohen) Finn, Beloved father of Jeffrey & his wife Carolyn Finn and Robyn & her husband Tom Moosey. Cherished grandfather of Alex, Erica, Bradley, Todd and Jenna. Dear brother of Jerry & his wife Barbara Finn and the late Marvin Finn & his surviving wife Norma Finn.Loving brother-in-law of Gail & her husband Jeffrey Silverman and Martin & his wife Anita Cohen. Services at the Goldman Funeral Chapel 174 Ferry St. (off Route 60) MALDEN on Thursday April 20 at 10:00 AM. Interment in Danvers. Condolence calls may be made following the interment at the home of Jerry & Barbara Finn until 8PM and on Friday at the home of Gail & Jeffrey Silverman from 1-4PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation 309 Waverly Oaks Road Waltham, MA 02452.
