ASKENAZY- Harold
92, life-long resident of Malden. Entered into Rest unexpectedly June 14, 2017. WWII Army veteran and former owner of Malden Glass Co. Devoted husband of the late Edith (Schwartz) Askenazy. Beloved father of Michael Askenazy and Rachel & her husband Andrew Brown. Cherished grandfather of Devan H. Brown. Dear brother of the late Isadore Askenazy, Morris Askenazy, Bertha Wittenberg, Ruth O’Brien, Kay Mendell, Fay Gordon and Samuel Askenazy. Services at the Goldman Funeral Chapel 174 Ferry St. (off Route 60) MALDEN on Monday June 19 at 10:00 AM. Interment in Lebanon Tifereth Israel Cemetery, Peabody. Condolence calls may be made following the interment at the home of Rachel & Andrew Brown until 8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in hIs memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
