Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Carl Caplan can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

85, of Tewksbury formerly of Andover. Entered Eternal Rest on September 30, 2014. Devoted husband of Shirley (Fern) Levinson and the late Lillian (Selsberg) Caplan. Beloved father of Stacey Caplan, Peter & Susan Caplan, Harris Levinson, Karyl & Joshua Conescu and Alyssa & Dade Myres. Cherished “Grampy” of Jacob Prince, Lindsay Caplan, Brett Caplan, Reva Conescu, Ben Conescu, Jordan Myres and Sarah Myres. Dear brother of the late Barbara Somers Services at Temple Emanuel 7 Haggetts Pond Road (off Route 133) ANDOVER on Sunday October 5 at 1:30PM. Interment at Temple Emanuel Cemetery, Lawrence. Condolence calls may be made following the interment at Temple Emanuel until 5PM and at the home of Peter & Susan Caplan in Sharon on Monday 2-4 & 7-9PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to www.wgbh.org
