Judi was a big influence on me early in my career. We both worked for Interactive Data in the mid-70s, and this was my first tech writing job. Judi was my editor. And my mentor. She taught me a great deal and was a real friend. I gave her a cat - Persephone - that she had for a number of years, and we drove out to see the Indy 500 one year. I'll miss her a great deal, and I appreciate and remember all she did for me.
