We were so fortunate to have met both Mr. and Mrs. Traub when our Dad was at Marland Place in Andover. From their first day, the retired Navy men had something in common and sharing stories would prove to be both enjoyable and theraputic, for both of them.

Litte did we know that the beautiful little lady with the pigtails, the kind eyes and the beautiful smile would prove to be such a beacon of her faith. Iris truly lived and shared her faith everyday and with everybody...she was an outstanding example of all that is good, kind and fair...and that was without even speaking.

The Friday evening after "her" Eddie passed, she was setting up her Shabbat table and I happened to walk by.  She asked me if I would like to join her, and unfortunately I was in a rush and had to decline her offer.  How I regret not making the time.

The entire MacDonald family is saddened by her passing, but are grateful to have known her.
